Kent Kilpatrick, Case Manger

Kent is our Case Manager at Brookhaven.  He graduated from Liberty University in Virginia in 2017.  He started working with youth in 2013 at a variety of summer camps.  In 2015, he worked for a camp in Pennsylvania for twice exceptional children and was drawn towards the specific challenges that are involved in working with children.  Before joining us, Kent was working direct care at a wilderness therapeutic camp in North Carolina.  Here he lived out in the woods with his group, year round in structures they designed and built themselves.  He also helped plan and eventually lead month-long canoe trips, such as his 230 miles down the Swanee River in Florida.  Kent has a passion for the outdoors, especially the wildlife that live in it, and is learning how to photograph them in their natural habitat.  When he is home, he enjoys movies and editing his photography.
