Classroom Teacher Long Term Sub (January – April):

The classroom teacher will collaborate with the Special Education Coordinator for the education of Brookhaven students, provide instruction in academic subjects, utilizing a wide range of teaching methods, materials and equipment, including reading materials, instructional games and resource materials, participate in colleagueship and staff activities, other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s Degree and able to meet standards required by the Independent school approval process. Experience working with behavioral/ emotional disabled students or related fields.

AM Shift Direct Care (Sunday – Wednesday 6:30am – Wednesday 4:30 & Wednesday – Saturday 6:30am – 4:30 PM)

The Direct Care assist the Residential program in creating a safe environment to facilitate personal, social, and intellectual development in the youth we serve. To accomplish these tasks the Direct Care works close with the staff and administration of the Brookhaven Treatment and Learning Center. A High school diploma with a minimum of 2 years working with youth is required for this position.

PM Direct Care: Tuesday – Saturday 2:30pm – 10:30 pm

The Direct Care assist the Residential program in creating a safe environment to facilitate personal, social, and intellectual development in the youth we serve. To accomplish these tasks the Direct Care works close with the staff and administration of the Brookhaven Treatment and Learning Center. A High school diploma with a minimum of 2 years working with youth is required for this position

Third Shift Direct Care (10:30pm – 6:30am)

The Direct Care assist the Residential program in creating a safe environment to facilitate personal, social, and intellectual development in the youth we serve. To accomplish these tasks the Direct Care works close with the staff and administration of the Brookhaven Treatment and Learning Center. Cleaning of our building and doing paperwork along with other assigned task on the overnight shift. A High school diploma with a minimum of 2 years working with youth is required for this position.
