Donate to the Brookhaven Initiative: Scholarship Fund

Dramatic cuts in Vermont’s State budget mean many agencies are utilizing community based services rather then residential treatment due to the cost. The need for facilities such as Brookhaven remains profound, yet there is very little money to support the cost.  Consequently, many children are not receiving the intensive residential services early on; leading to increased difficulties with treatment success as they age. The Brookhaven Initiative is our way of taking action to address the emotional and behavioral challenges of Vermont youths in need.  The Brookhaven Scholarship fund which will provide full and partial scholarships for Vermont’s children to access  our services when there are no available funds approved through the state. Services include our independent school, residential treatment program, family retreat, and our therapeutic summer camp.
